30 Days of Beauty-Day 11: Shredding

As a result of organizing over the last few weeks, we had a lot of shredding that we needed to get rid of.  We had so many boxes and bags; we didn't know how we were going to dispose of them safely.  Luckily for us, our financial adviser had a shredding event.  I sheepishly asked if they had a limit on how much we could bring.  They encouraged me to bring all that we had.  My husband filled his SUV to the brim and brought the shredding to the event.  It only took a few minutes for the shredding company to dispose of all of the papers he brought.

Since then, we have been going through more papers.  As I would sort, I would put them in bags for recycling and for shredding.  In addition, others have been piling documents to be shredded on the shredder. We have an industrial shredder, but the bin was full; so family members have been piling them up.  I'm not sure why I'm the only one who clears out the bin, but this job seems to always fall to me.

Today I cleaned out the bin and started shredding what was on top of the shredder and in the bag.  It's all done, and the bin is empty.  Now I have a pile of 5 bags of shredding.  This pile is truly a thing of beauty!

Have you found your joy today?
